R-Truth attacked The Miz at ringside during this match. The Wyatt Sicks attacked The Final Testament & The Miz. Uncle Howdy then choked out Paul Ellering.
According to the Wrestling Observer, this angle was most likely done to write Ellering off WWE programming:
“I got the impression watching this show that Ellering is done. I don’t think he adds anything; I think the whole idea with him is that somebody got in their heads that we want [AOP] to be the next Road Warriors. But he just stands there; he barely talks. Never interferes. He’s 71. All that travel can’t be easy at that age. It felt like watching that, that this was his swansong.”

• Former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox’s life has been on a positive path, both professionally and personally, as she recently married her longtime partner.
Fox began dating musician Michael Fitzgerald from the Darkhorse Saloon band several years ago, and the two got engaged in 2022.
Fans eagerly anticipated when the former WWE Diva would officially marry. After a couple of years, the wait is over.
