WWE Legend Will Appear On NXT To Battle AEW Dynamite

Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.

• As we reported before, WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite will go head-to-head on Tuesday, October 8. Dynamite will present a special “Title Tuesday” edition on that night.

Shawn Michaels announced the following about the upcoming CW Network era of NXT:

“Triple H, I borrowed the jet…

Can’t wait to bring NXT on the road for the first two episodes of @TheCW era in Chicago on Tuesday 10/1 & St. Louis on Tuesday 10/8!”

Randy Orton then noted that he’ll appear on the October 8th episode:

“HBK – If you’re bringing NXT to my backyard, count me in. See you in St. Louis on October 8.”

Just like last year, expect WWE to load up this NXT episode with main roster stars and Legends to ensure they don’t lose to AEW in the ratings on their own night.

• On last night’s episode of RAW, Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest went after the new Judgment Day.
