• WWE Main Roster Call-Up Canceled Due To A Concussion
Former 2-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction replaced Nikkita Lyons & Zoey Stark in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament.
However, Dolin & Jayne were later pulled from this tournament too, after Dolin suffered a concussion during a tournament match.
Gigi & Jacy were scheduled to become a part of the WWE main roster through this tournament, but that plan has now been canceled due to Gigi’s injury.
Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:
“Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne were scheduled to go to the main roster. They did a social media video talking about how they were going to take over SmackDown from now on, but then the video was taken down.
In the Dolin & Jayne vs. Natalya & Deville match, Dolin apparently forgot a lot of the match and Natalya had to hold the match together.
Dolin suffered a concussion and she and Jayne were pulled from the tournament.”
