• Old School Wrestling Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW Legend Bill Goldberg (Real name: William Scott Goldberg) celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

The former WCW Main Eventer became famous for having arguably the greatest undefeated streak in Professional Wrestling history in 1997-1998.

Goldberg won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan in 1998, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H in 2003 and the WWE Universal Championship from Kevin Owens in 2017.

Bill also had roles in several movies such as “Universal Soldier 2 : The Return”, “Santa’s Slay”, “Ready to Rumble”, “The Longest Yard” and “Half Past Dead 2”.

When asked about yet another part-time return to the ring, Goldberg says “Never say never”, so it’s possible that we will see him in action again, maybe as a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble match and/or at WrestleMania 35.

On April 6, 2018, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by Paul Heyman, thus headlining the 2018 induction ceremony.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GOLDBERG!

• WWE Main Roster Plan For Lars Sullivan Cancelled

As we noted before, the original WWE main roster plan for Lars Sullivan was for RAW & SmackDown brands to fight over the right to get Sullivan on their brand.

However, with the McMahons taking over both RAW & SmackDown, that storyline has been dropped and WWE doesn’t mention this RAW-SmackDown storyline during vignette’s for Lars now.

In our previous update on Lars, plans were for him to appear at the Royal Rumble 2019 PPV and choose which brand he’s going to be a part of.

No word yet on if that’s still the plan for Lars after the above stated storyline was dropped.
