After tonight’s NXT went off the air, WWE taped next week’s episode of NXT.
One of the matches being taped was Lyra Valkyria vs. Shotzi for the NXT Women’s Championship.
This match got stopped due to Shotzi suffering a serious knee injury. The injury occurred when she went for her apron DDT.
Below are the complete results from tonight’s episode of NXT, which featured new champions being crowned:
– NXT Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar & Oro Mensah def. Von Wagner & Robert Stone
– Chase University wants a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championship.
– Ridge Holland def. Gallus in the Gauntlet Match by DQ after they attack him
Holland grabbed a Steel Chair and took out all 3 of them.
– Lola Vice def. Tatum Paxley
– Lyra Valkyria (c) vs. Shotzi for the NXT Women’s Championship got made official for next week.
– Jaida Parker def. Adriana Rizzo
– The No Quarter Catch Crew challenged Noam Dar for his Heritage Cup Trophy.
– Carmelo Hayes def. Joe Gacy
After the match, Dijak came out and tied Gacy into a Straitjacket, and beat him down.
– Oba Femi (c) vs. Lexis King for the NXT North American Championship got made official for next week.
Lexis attacked Oba, but Oba fought him off.
– Kiana James def. Brinley Reece
– Another mystery vignette was shown. The message read “Goodness is a man’s struggle. Evil however, is human nature”.
– Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin def. Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (c) to win the NXT Tag Team Championship
