• WWE Makes A Change To Their Pay Structure For Wrestlers

WWE used to pay their wrestlers using a downside guarantee system, where the wrestlers would get a guaranteed amount of money per year, but they were able to make additional money due to merch sales, house show pay, pay-per-view bonus, etc.

However, that isn’t the case anymore.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE wrestlers nowadays get paid a fixed salary with no additional money from merch, PPVs, etc.

However, the guaranteed money wrestlers are getting nowadays is higher than it has ever been, so it evens it out in the end.

It should be noted that the pay structure for top WWE Superstars is different, so they probably get the additional benefits as well.

As we have reported before, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns get paid a guaranteed $5 million per year, while other top stars make between $2-3 million per year.
