WWE Makes A Slight Change To Extreme Rules PPV Name

• ON THIS DAY IN WWF HISTORY (July 5, 2001) – WWF SmackDown!

On this day in 2001, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF SmackDown!’.

It was broadcasted from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington and featured pre-taped matches & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Invasion 2001’ PPV.

• WWE Makes A Slight Change To Extreme Rules PPV Name

As we all know by now, WWE changed the name of this year’s Extreme Rules PPV to “Extreme Rules: The Horror Show” a few weeks back.

WWE has made a slight change to this new PPV name and it’s now being called “The Horror Show at WWE Extreme Rules”.

This horror theme of the PPV is basically for just one match – Wyatt Swamp Fight (which will be a cinematic match).
