• WWE Making $1 Billion With New Peacock Deal

WWE’s fans in USA will now have to be Peacock subscribers if they want to watch content on the WWE Network.

That’s right, WWE has sold exclusive right to their Network content to Peacock. Fans can subscribe to Peacock for $4.99 a month and get access to the WWE Network and Peacock’s entire content (Peacock recently acquired rights to air popular show “The Office US” as well).

To get an ad-free version of Peacock, there’s a $9.99 per month option as well (which was the original price of the WWE Network).

WWE recently did a similar thing in India, where they made their Network available exclusively on Sony LIV for Indian fans for only $4 for the entire year!

WWE Network will be available on Peacock starting March 18 and Fastlane 2021 will be the first WWE pay-per-view event to air live on Peacock on March 21.

According to the Wall Street Journal, this is a 5 year deal and WWE will be making a total of $1 billion!

• Old School WCW Diva Celebrates Her Birthday

Old School WCW Diva Gorgeous George (Real name: Stephanie Bellars) celebrates her 45th birthday today.

In 1999, she appeared as the valet of her real life boyfriend at that time, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage, and therefore has been a member of his ‘Team Madness’ faction with Savage, Sid Vicious, Miss Madness (Molly Holly) & Madusa.

When they broke up in the fall of 1999, she left the promotion and continued to appear on the independent scene (following brief runs in ECW & TNA), where she was known as George Frankenstein, because Savage held the contractual trademark rights of the “Gorgeous George” name.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GORGEOUS GEORGE!
