• WWE NXT Title Holder Could Get Stripped Soon
NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez passed out last week after defending her title against Meiko Satomura.
Due to her health, Perez might get stripped of her title. Below is what Shawn Michaels tweeted:
“As of Friday Morning Roxanne Perez was discharged from the hospital. However after numerous tests Roxanne’s health is still in question.
With Stand and Deliver in less than three weeks I have the obligation to announce we possibly have to crown a New NXT Women’s Champion.”
On this week’s episode of NXT, a Sports Medicine Physician said that Perez’s blood came back as reassuring and that she is systematically stable, but it is not known yet what caused Roxanne to pass out last week.
He said that tests will be ongoing to investigate the issue further and that it is unknown when Roxanne will return to in-ring action.
HBK has announced a Ladder Match to determine the NXT Women’s Champion at Stand & Deliver on April 1st.
