Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring Travis Scott and Jim Ross.

• Travis Scott’s debut on WWE RAW during the Netflix premiere created buzz beyond his entrance.

The Grammy-nominated rapper accompanied Jey Uso to the ring and sparked controversy when he lit up a joint during the walkout — a move that was neither planned nor approved by WWE.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE Officials were caught off guard by the unapproved moment, but the backstage reaction was surprisingly calm:

“We are told there is no heat on Travis Scott for lighting up during his entrance with Jey Uso this past Monday night. The company was unaware this was going to happen and it was in no way approved. But everyone played it off well, and the show moved along.”

Despite the unexpected incident, WWE appears unfazed in its collaboration with Scott. The rapper shares a strong relationship with the company, with Triple H often attending his concerts and maintaining a friendly rapport.

WWE reportedly has “major plans” for Scott in the future, signaling that this episode won’t disrupt their partnership.

• Jim Ross recently shared a startling personal story on his Grilling JR podcast, revealing a bold proposition he received from former WWF Diva Tammy Sytch, famously known as Sunny, following the tragic loss of his wife, Jan, in 2017.

Ross explained that Sunny offered to move in with him in Oklahoma, claiming she could take care of him both domestically and romantically during one of the most vulnerable times in his life. Ross recalled her words:

“I remember her offering she wanted to move in with me in Oklahoma at one time. Yeah, I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom. Blah, blah, blah, and we can have a great time.”

Despite his grief and loneliness, Ross immediately declined the offer. “I thought about it for like, 10 seconds. No way in hell,” he said. Reflecting on his decision, he highlighted the emotional baggage that Sunny’s troubled history brought.

“I might be naive and lonely and heartbroken, but god damn it, I already been down that road. I already saw what she was all about, and I wasn’t going to bring myself into the dramatic aspect of my life, and I’m sure as glad I didn’t do it. A piece of a$$ is a piece of a$$. What the hell. Ain’t worth the trouble… I dodged the bullet there. I promise you.”

Ross also clarified that there was no prior $exual relationship between him and Sunny and described her proposal as entirely unexpected.
