WWE Officials Trying To Keep The Finish Of The Universal Title Match At SummerSlam 2017 A Secret

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are trying to keep the finish of the Universal Title match at SummerSlam 2017 a secret. They’ve only given the script for the match finish to Brock Lesnar and the other 3 wrestlers involved in that match will be told about the finish at the last minute.

As seen on last week’s episode of Raw, Paul Heyman announced that if Brock Lesnar loses at SummerSlam 2017, then he’ll leave WWE. Word going on is that WWE did this to make people believe that Lesnar is going to drop the Universal Title at SummerSlam 2017 and then start preparing for his UFC return for a rumored super-fight against Jon Jones.

However, that isn’t the case. Lesnar is currently expected to retain the Universal Title at SummerSlam 2017 and then work the September Raw-exclusive PPV, No Mercy 2017, as well. Also, it should be noted that Lesnar isn’t expected to have a fight in the UFC before WrestleMania 34 next year. Below are the current betting odds for the Fatal 4-Way Universal Championship match at SummerSlam 2017:

Brock Lesnar (c) -120 (Favorite)
Roman Reigns +245
Samoa Joe +245
Braun Strowman +700
