Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, involving the WWE Performance Center, MGK and Randy Orton.

• The WWE Performance Center, currently located in Orlando, Florida, is set to be shifted to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Here’s what WrestleVotes reported:

“According to a source there was an all employee meeting today at WWE HQ in Stamford hosted by Mark Shapiro. I’m told the biggest news to come out of the meeting is that the WWE Performance Center will be moving to Las Vegas in the near future.”

NXT takes place every week at the WWE Performance Center.

UPDATE: Dave Meltzer confirmed that WWE is planning to establish a new Performance Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, it’s unclear if this facility will replace the existing one in Orlando, FL, or operate alongside it.

Bryan Alvarez noted that the news caught many by surprise, with “very few outside of the higher-ups” being aware of it, and some staff reportedly “furious”.

Despite these reports, Fightful Select states that WWE has denied any plans to move the Performance Center from Orlando to Las Vegas. Their sources clarified that Mark Shapiro did not announce such a move during any meetings.

New Video: Randy Orton Grabs His Wife’s Knockers:

• At WWE SummerSlam 2024, Machine Gun Kelly accompanied Logan Paul to the ring. Paul lost the United States Championship at LA Knight at this PLE.

During an interview on Logan’s Impaulsive podcast, MGK revealed that he confronted Orton before SummerSlam:

“I’m a very shy dude, but my defense is so high because the offense seems always so against me. It’s like when I was in the ring, just coming to say what’s up to Logan and see what we could work out for the show, and I saw Randy Orton.

I remember seeing Randy Orton talk sh*t about me. I was like, there’s a point where I’m like I’m gonna practice a new version of myself. Then three, two, one, I’m like f*ck that. ‘Hey, man, f*ck you.’ Yeah.

I remember all my boys were sitting there like (looking around). Is this part of the script? I don’t know what’s happening.

But the amount of people that pin me as the aggressor in every situation that I’m in are so wrong. I do nothing but commit myself to art. The art of me standing or existing makes people furious.”
