2. Royal Rumble 2019 PPV Match Cancelled
On this week’s episode of WWE Main Event, it was revealed that “The Man” Becky Lynch will get her rematch for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Asuka at Royal Rumble 2019.

However, it now looks like this match isn’t going to take place and there is a valid explanation behind this.
Former SmackDown General Manager Paige explained on Twitter why Asuka vs. Becky won’t be taking place at the Royal Rumble 2019 PPV:

1. WWE Planning To Recreate Chris Benoit-Eddie Guerrero WrestleMania 20 Moment At WrestleMania 35
According to the Dirty Sheets, current plan for WrestleMania 35 is “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns to make an appearance and congratulate his Shield brother Seth Rollins, after Rollins defeats Brock Lesnar to capture the Universal Championship.
This would be similar to the moment that Chris Benoit & Eddie Guerrero had after the WrestleMania 20 main event where then WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero came out to congratulate Benoit on winning the World Heavyweight Championship. You can watch it below:
However, this WrestleMania 35 plan for Reigns can change if Vince McMahon changes his mind regarding Rollins vs. Lesnar as Rollins’ match with Dean Ambrose at TLC 2018 (which WWE officials thought was a major match) was a flop and had fans chanting “This Is Boring”.

Speaking of Reigns, he is currently battling leukemia and the update is that he’s responding well to the treatment.
