According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE officials are planning to turn former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival into comedy character.

Dash Wilder of The Revival recently fell down during his entrance on SmackDown. This was reportedly the beginning of their character change.

The reason behind this move is that The Revival isn’t willing to sign a new contract with WWE and their deal is set to expire after a few months.

So what WWE officials are planning to do is job out The Revival as comedy characters on their way out of the company.
