• WWE Possibly Making A Major Change To Their Programming

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE no longer plans to have wrestling matches continue during commercial breaks on RAW & SmackDown.

This is the reason why WWE did 2 out of 3 falls matches on last week’s RAW & SmackDown (so they can have a fall and then go to commercial break).

Current idea is to do more 2 out of 3 falls matches on WWE programming so they can avoid wrestling during commercial breaks.

Also, PWInsider is reporting that an idea about having multiple rounds in a match have been discussed as well:

“PWInsider has also been told by one source that idea of trying matches with multiple rounds has also been pitched at some point in the last few weeks, similar to the old European rounds system, but there is no word yet that idea will be executed.”
