WWE Programming Set To Undergo A Big Change This Saturday

Jesse Ventura The Body Saturday Night's Main Event 2 WWE WWF WrestleFeed App

Jesse “The Body” Ventura is returning to WWE for the rebooted Saturday Night’s Main Event, promising fans a nostalgic experience.

Speaking on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Ventura revealed that the show will embrace a retro aesthetic, replicating the classic look, graphics, and presentation of the original program.

Ventura highlighted the throwback elements, including wrestler entrances through the crowd rather than modern ramps with elaborate lighting. He described the show as a “time capsule” and announced it will air quarterly.

Here’s what Ventura said:

“The whole show is going to be a throwback. That means it’s going to look like it did before, the graphics, everything. The wrestlers are not coming down that ramp. They’re not coming with all the lights and spectacular.

They’re coming in through the crowd like the old days. That’s why they brought me back. We’re going back in the time capsule. It’s going to be four times a year.”

Saturday Night’s Main Event returns this Saturday on December 14. Below is the match-card:

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Kevin Owens

Triple Threat Match For The World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther (c) vs. World Tag Team Champion Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest

Women’s World Championship Match: Liv Morgan (c) vs. IYO SKY
