• WWE Releases An Update On Roman Reigns

“The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns was scheduled to kick off 2022 by defending the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in the main event of the Day 1 PPV, but that didn’t happen because Reigns tested positive for COVID-19.

Brock Lesnar was then added to the WWE Championship match at Day 1, which he won and became the new WWE Champion.

The next night on RAW, Bobby Lashley won a #1 Contenders match and will now face Lesnar for the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble 2022 PPV.

However, Lesnar is still a Free Agent and he will appear on this week’s SmackDown to continue his feud with The Head Of The Table.

WWE just announced that Reigns has been medically cleared and will appear on tomorrow’s SmackDown.

Here’s what WWE posted:

“Roman Reigns has been medically cleared and is set to return at tomorrow’s Friday Night SmackDown.

The Universal Champion was unable to compete at WWE Day 1 after testing positive for COVID. His slated opponent Brock Lesnar was added to the WWE Championship Fatal 5-Way Match and went on to capture the title. On this week’s Raw, Lesnar warned Reigns that he was heading to the blue brand this week.

What will be in store when this explosive confrontation goes down tomorrow night?

Don’t miss the massive encounter this Friday at 8/7 C on FOX.”
