Below are some top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, involving Cody Rhodes, Rampage & more.

• PWInsider reports that Kristin Altman has been “let go” by WWE after 17 years with the company.

Altman most recently held the position of Vice President of Talent Relations Operations.

She began her WWE career as a receptionist before transitioning to a Talent Relations Coordinator role in 2008. Over the next decade, she continued to advance within Talent Relations.

• On his Keepin’ It 100 podcast, WCW Veteran Konnan suggested that conflicts between Brandi Rhodes and Britt Baker played a role in Cody Rhodes’ decision to leave AEW in 2022. Konnan stated that AEW owner Tony Khan consistently backed Baker in these disagreements, which added to the issues:

“One of the reasons that Cody left amongst many was there were problems between Brandi and Britt. Tony always takes [Baker’s] side. You’ll find out one day.”

Baker was recently suspended after a backstage incident with MJF.
