• WWE Reportedly Created A “Reboot” Of The Trish Stratus/Mickie James Obsessed Fan Storyline With New SmackDown Wrestler

After recovering from a torn ACL injury, Mickie James showed up on RAW a couple of months ago, and got forced out of action again after suffering a broken nose on an episode of RAW.

She last wrestled on the 21st September episode of RAW against Zelina Vega, and hasn’t been seen on TV since then. James wasn’t picked by any brand during the Draft, and is currently a free agent.

According to Fightful Select, WWE had planned a reboot of the obsessed fan storyline between James and Trish Stratus from 2005-06, which would be between a debuting Chelsea Green and James herself this time.

However, Green was set to play the fan this time, while James was supposed to play the role of Stratus.

The first footage of the storyline was already shot, but the plan was dropped just hours ahead of it being scheduled to air on TV.

Green is currently out of action with a broken arm (which she suffered in her SmackDown debut match), and there’s no update on James’ status.
