WWE held a “Saturday Night’s Main Event” Live Event last night at the R R Events Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Below are the results:

– Cody Rhodes cut a promo and was attacked by Imperium. Kevin Owens & Matt Riddle made the save, which set up the main event.

– Braun Strowman & Ricochet def. The Viking Raiders

– Dominik Mysterio def. Santos Escobar (Dominik put his feet on the ropes for leverage to pin Santos)

– Piper Niven def. Chelsea Green and Shotzi in a Triple Threat Match

– Bianca Belair (c) def. Piper Niven and Asuka in a Triple Threat Match to retain the RAW Women’s Championship

– Shinsuke Nakamura def. The Miz

– Austin Theory (c) def. Bobby Lashley to retain the United States Championship

– Cody Rhodes, Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Kevin Owens & Matt Riddle def. Imperium (Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (April 6, 2020) – Old School WWF Legend Passed Away

On this day in 2020, we lost legendary Old School WWF Ring Announcer “The Fink” Howard Finkel at the age of 69 due to health issues.

Howard Finkel worked as a ring announcer for the World Wrestling Federation (World Wide Wrestling Federation during his early days) from 1975 until 2016, although he became a part timer during the early 2000s.

The Fink appeared at every WrestleMania from the first one in 1985 till WrestleMania 32, including an appearance in a toga as “Finkus Maximus” during WrestleMania IX.

In 2009, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by his close personal friend Mean Gene Okerlund.
