• WWE Set A New Record On RAW
After Elimination Chamber 2023, WWE held RAW in Canada as well.
The passionate Canadian wrestling fans helped WWE in setting a new record on Monday.
Below is what Sean Ross Sapp reported about it:
“Per internal WWE live events reports, RAW in Ottawa, Ontario was their highest grossing event ever there.”
The main event of the show featured WWE Hall Of Famer Edge taking on Austin Theory for the United States Championship.
Former Women’s Champion Lita also appeared on the show. Trish Stratus was scheduled to appear as well and was backstage at the show, but her appearance was canceled at the last minute.
Multiple WrestleMania 39 angles advanced on the show, including Omos challenging Brock Lesnar to a match.
This episode drew 2.01 million viewers with a 0.56 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is up from last week’s 1.81 million viewers with a 0.47 rating. RAW ranked #1 on the Cable Top 150.
