• WWE Set To Bring Back A Retired PPV

WWE has brought back old pay-per-views to use for their NXT developmental brand in recent memory.

Some of the examples include:

– Great American Bash

– Halloween Havoc

– In Your House

– Vengeance (as NXT Vengeance Day)

– Roadblock

According to the latest trademark filed by WWE on March 20th, the Battleground PPV is set to return as “NXT Battleground”.

WWE used this pay-per-view name from 2013 to 2017, before retiring it.

Speaking of NXT premium live events, the next PLE will be NXT Stand & Deliver 2023, which will take place on April 1st, a few hours before WrestleMania 39 – Night 1.

The main event of this show is going to be Bron Breakker (son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner) defending the NXT Championship against Carmelo Hayes.
