• WWE Set To Use Expensive Technology For SmackDown On FOX

As we noted last week, Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that WWE is trying to get everyone they can get to appear on SmackDown’s debut on FOX and that it’s going to be the biggest WWE show in a long time.

Alvarez also noted that WWE officials are trying to secure The Rock for that show:

“Everybody that they can get and believe me, they want The Rock — everybody they can get will be on that debut show and it’s gonna be a giant show. They’re probably gonna want to shoot an angle for the next week and we’re talking red carpet, paparazzi, celebrities.

They’re gonna try to get sports stars to appear on the show. Major League Baseball, NFL since Fox has the TV rights to both. So that’s the update on the FOX debut. It’s gonna be the biggest WWE show in a long, long time.”

In addition to that, WrestleVotes is now reporting that WWE is set to use an expensive technology for different camera angles on SmackDown, to give a cinematic feel to the viewers:

“When the move to FOX happens, expect SmackDown to be shot with different cameras. WWE tested out some newer, much more expensive technology recently and said to have liked what it produced. It will seem cinematic like, similar to some WWE 24 footage.”
