β€’ WWE SmackDown Results – NXT Wrestler Finally Debuts, Final Chapter Complete

Below are the results from tonight’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown:

– Universal Champion Roman Reigns kicked off tonight’s SmackDown and said he makes people relevant and has made Jey Uso a main event talent who people recognise (before he was just one of the twins people couldn’t recognize). Reigns then said he’s going to beat WWE’s secondary champion, Randy Orton, at Survivor Series.

RAW’s Drew McIntyre then came out to interrupt Reigns’ promo. McIntyre said he’s going to beat Orton on next week’s RAW to win the WWE Championship again and he’ll face Reigns at Survivor Series after that. McIntyre then talked about eliminating Reigns from the Royal Rumble earlier this year and then beat up “his b*tch” Brock Lesnar in 5 minutes at WrestleMania.

McIntyre tells Roman to his face that he’s “The Man” now and he’s going to prove it at Survivor Series. Reigns agrees that McIntyre did step up in his absence, but he’s back now. Reigns said he doesn’t watch RAW, nobody does, because everyone watches him on SmackDown.

Jey Uso then ran out and told Reigns he got this and told McIntyre they run this show, what’s he doing here? Jey then challenged Drew to a one-on-one match tonight and McIntyre shoved Jey Uso down. Reigns then told Jey to back up and left the ring.

Reigns was then shown shouting at Jey backstage and said he calls the shots around here, not him. McIntyre later accepted Jey’s challenge in front of WWE official Adam Pearce.

WWE later announced that tonight’s main event will be Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso in an “Unsanctioned Match”.

– Sami Zayn (c) def. Apollo Crews via count-out to retain the Intercontinental Championship

– Bayley interrupted SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks’ promo. This distracted Sasha and Carmella attacked her from behind and laid her out

– Otis def. Dolph Ziggler (Chad Gables offered to be Otis’ trainer and mentor to help him learn discipline. Gable gave Otis a flyer to join his “Alpha Academy”)

– Rey Mysterio def. Seth Rollins in a No Holds Barred match to complete their “Final Chapter” after Murphy turned on Rollins to help Mysterio win (The Mysterio Family embraced Murphy after the match)

– Liv Morgan def. Tamina, Natalya, & Chelsea Green in a Fatal 4 Way match to qualify for SmackDown Women’s Survivor Series team

– Seth Rollins vs. Murphy will take place on next week’s SmackDown

– Drew McIntyre def. Jey Uso (Roman Reigns came out during the ending moments of the match and this distracted Drew. Jey took advantage and pushed Drew into the Steel Steps. Jey said to Reigns that he’s going to beat Drew and Roman said he doesn’t care if he beats him, and told him to go and make him “understand”. Jey entered the ring and began punching Drew left & right. Drew then got up and suddenly delivered a Claymore Kick to pick up the win. Drew got in Reigns’ face outside the ring after the match to end the show)
