Below are some top WWE news stories of the day.

• Cora Jade suffered an injury during her match against Jordynne Grace on this week’s NXT, leading to the match being stopped. She has now entered concussion protocol.

The Wrestling Observer reviewed the footage and believes Jade may have gotten hurt when she hit the turnbuckle, causing her head to snap back. Afterward, she struggled in the ring, missing a stomp and failing to bounce off the bottom rope. The referee noticed something was wrong and called off the match.

Fightful Select confirmed Jade suffered a head injury, not a knee injury, and Jade herself admitted she was “rocked for a second” but clarified her knee was fine. There’s no word yet on how long she will be out.
