• WWE Superstars Will Now Be Making More Money (Details)

On Thursday, WWE held a Talent meeting where Triple H met the WWE Superstars after several months.

According to Fightful Select, this was an emotional scene, as Triple H recently announced his in-ring retirement due to heart failure:

“We’re told that John Laurinaitis kicked off the meeting by saying he had a guest for the talent in attendance. It was Triple H, who hasn’t been seen by most talent since August.

We’re told it was an emotional scene with many elated that he was there. He discussed his health challenges and introduced WWE President Nick Khan, who he called a friend of over 10 years.”

Nick Khan then went on to reveal that WWE stars will now make additional money on top of their guaranteed pay.

WWE Stars will now be compensated for revenue generated from 3rd party platforms and sources, like Cameo, autograph signings, scripted and unscripted WWE programming.

WWE Superstars were very happy after this meeting and a WWE source described this as a great way to start such a big weekend.

Wrestling Veteran “The Legend Killer” Randy Orton celebrates his 42nd birthday today.

The son of Old School WWF Legend “Cowboy” Bob Orton Jr. and grandson of Bob Orton Sr. went through the WWF developmental system at Ohio Valley Wrestling in Louisville, Kentucky, before he debuted for the World Wrestling Federation in 2002.

Towards the end of that year, Randy Orton joined “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair & “The Game” Triple H to form the famous faction Evolution, with “The Animal” Batista joining in early 2003.

Randy has been a main event caliber WWE Superstar in the (now renamed) WWE ever since and will one day, after he’s retired, be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY ORTON!
