WWE Teases New Universal Title Feud, Brock Lesnar Could Get Stripped Of The Universal Title On RAW Tonight

Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (July 16, 1995) – Bash At The Beach 1995

On this day in Professional Wrestling history on July 16, 1995, WCW aired ‘Bash at the Beach 1995’ LIVE on PPV from the beach in Huntington Beach, California. This marks the first, the last & the only Professional Wrestling PPV that has ever happened on an actual beach instead of inside an arena.

But not only the World Championship Wrestling cameras were filming the event, the 2 main events of the show were also shown on an episode of the TV Show Baywatch featuring David Hasselhoff & Pamela Anderson.

The only possible excuse for not doing another PPV on the beach could be that none of the 9,500 people in attendance paid any money to see it. Other than that the PPV had a great & special feeling to it, not so much because of the actual matches (they weren’t bad at all though) but because of the great California beach atmosphere.

Here are the official PPV results from Bash at the Beach 1995:

– WCW United States Heavyweight Championship

Sting def. Meng

– WCW World Television Championship

The Renegade def. Paul Orndorff

– Kamala def. Jim Duggan

– Diamond Dallas Page def. Dave Sullivan

– WCW World Tag Team Championship

Harlem Heat def. Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags, Earl Robert Eaton & Lord Steven Regal

– Lifeguard Lumberjack match

Randy Savage def. Ric Flair

– Steel Cage – WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Hulk Hogan def. Vader

• WWE Teases New Universal Title Feud, Brock Lesnar Could Get Stripped Of The Universal Title On RAW Tonight

As seen last night at the Extreme Rules 2018 PPV, Bobby Lashley defeated “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns fair and square in the middle of the ring in their first ever encounter.

On the Extreme Rules 2018 Post Show, Lashley mentioned how he’s the new ‘Big Dog’ now and he wants to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

WWE is teasing that Brock Lesnar could get stripped of the Universal Championship on tonight’s RAW and if he doesn’t (for which he will have to agree to defend his Title) then he might get to see Lesnar vs. Lashley for the Title next.

Below is what WWE posted:

Will Brock Lesnar be stripped of the Universal Championship on Raw?

“At WWE Extreme Rules, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle gave Brock Lesnar a clear ultimatum: Either show up on Raw tonight or agree to terms for a future Universal Title Match. Failure to comply will result in The Olympic Gold Medalist stripping him of his Universal Title. Will The Beast choose to answer the call or lose Monday Night Raw’s top title?

Plus, though Roman Reigns has claimed for some time that he is the “uncrowned Universal Champion,” how will Bobby Lashley’s huge victory over The Big Dog play into the equation?”
