6. James Ellsworth Continues His “Sick” Angle
As we noted before, WWE played an angle at the starting of this week’s SmackDown Live where James Ellsworth was sick and Daniel Bryan & Shane McMahon told him to go home and that his WWE World Title match against AJ Styles has been postponed.
WWE played this angle because Styles is still not cleared to return to in-ring action due to the ankle injury he suffered at TLC 2016.
Ellsworth is still playing his “sick” angle as he tweeted the following:
