Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Hall of Fame and Hulk Hogan.

• As WWE begins its journey toward WrestleMania 41, preparations for the Hall of Fame ceremony are also underway, with inductee announcements expected in the coming months. However, WWE is reportedly reconsidering aspects of the event’s structure following last year’s challenges.

In 2024, the Hall of Fame class was headlined by Paul Heyman, whose opening speech was widely praised. However, it also led to a mass exit of fans who had already endured a full episode of SmackDown beforehand. This exodus drew criticism internally, as it disrupted the intended atmosphere for the rest of the ceremony.

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is exploring ways to prevent a repeat of this issue. Potential adjustments to the presentation format are under consideration to ensure the ceremony retains its energy and audience throughout:

“The only thing I can say is they were not happy with how everything happened last year in Philadelphia… in terms of the size of the crowd that was left even a half hour through.

Once Paul Heyman was done speaking last year, the majority of the crowd left and WWE was not thrilled with that.I talked to a source that said they couldn’t really blame them because the headliner went first. It’s the start of a very long weekend for a lot of people, so if you can get out of there at 10:30, you’re going to take that chance.

However, WWE was not thrilled with that so I don’t think they want to do that again. So I know they’re trying to come up with different ways to present everything. I just don’t know what that is yet.”

• Hulk Hogan got booed on the RAW Netflix premiere last week in Los Angeles, and his fellow nWo member Kevin Nash isn’t happy about it.

Here’s what Nash said about this situation on his Kliq This podcast:

“Somebody’s gotta be a heel. If he wasn’t financially tied to WWE with Real American Beer, the last thing you’d want to do is cut a promo on the crowd with your face on a beer can.

He’s in business with WWE, Real American Beer. I heard they’re planning to feature the beer on a turnbuckle, similar to Prime.

Hulk is beat up. He’s a tough motherf**cker. He sucked it up to come out and cut the promo, even though his back was killing him. I felt bad for him, but at least he got a reaction.

I saw the hardware they removed from his back. It was insane, the amount of screws and bolts they took out.”
