Below are a couple of WWE news stories:

– 2022 was a rough year for wrestlers affiliated to the NXT UK brand in WWE. The company dismantled the brand last year and announced that it would be debuting an expanded brand called NXT Europe.

NXT Europe was set to debut earlier this year, but WWE’s merger with UFC under Endeavor has slowed things down, which is why the launch of NXT Europe has also been delayed.

Meanwhile, Aleah James, who was in NXT UK since 2020, has announced her departure from WWE.

She took to Twitter to confirm the news.

“Sooo now we know I’m free as a bird.. who am I going to wrestle first?????”

Aleah James hasn’t stepped in the ring since March 2022.

– After helping “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio to retain the NXT North American Championship this past Sunday night at NXT: The Great American Bash, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley took care of her own business on this week’s RAW before SummerSlam.

Ripley got into a brawl with her next challenger, Raquel Rodriguez, and targeted her injured knee. She forced her out of action at least until after SummerSlam, so Rodriguez won’t be getting a shot at Mami’s title this Saturday.

WWE official Adam Pearce told Rodriguez that she will get a match against Ripley when she’s cleared to return to in-ring action. The feud between the former best friends will seemingly continue after SummerSlam.

After taking out Rodriguez, the Women’s World Champion took to Twitter to send her a message.

She wrote:

“I know *knees get weak when around me… But dam @RaquelWWE you really took it literally 🤭

Enjoy rehab. ⚖️ #WWERAW”

Perhaps, “Dirty Dom” can confirm what Ripley said since he called her his favourite snack a few days ago.
