• Evander Holyfield’s Son’s Ear Got Bit On WWE LFG Last Night (Video)
Elijah Holyfield, son of Boxing Legend Evander Holyfield, is venturing into professional wrestling. However, during the May 4th edition of WWE LFG, his match against Shiloh Hill took a bizarre turn. Hill bit Holyfield’s ear in the middle of their showdown.
This moment clearly echoed the infamous 1997 boxing match where Mike Tyson bit Evander Holyfield’s ear. That incident resulted in Tyson receiving a $3 million fine and a one-year boxing ban from the Nevada Boxing Commission.
Interestingly, the ban allowed the then-WWF to collaborate with Tyson. He became a prominent figure in the lead-up to WrestleMania 14, playing a significant role in the rise of the Attitude Era.
Now, nearly 30 years later, Elijah Holyfield experienced a similar ear-biting incident. Unlike the unplanned moment in his father’s fight, Hill’s attack was a deliberate part of the WWE storyline.
