On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 2, 1987, Verne Gagne’s American Wrestling Association aired ‘AWA Superclash II’ from the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California.

As opposed to Superclash I & Superclash III, this event featured mainly AWA wrestlers, while not featuring any NWA or WCCW talents.

WWE 205 Live wrestler Ariya Daivari revealed on Twitter that he received death threats following his segment at the Greatest Royal Rumble event.

For those who didn’t watch the Greatest Royal Rumble, Ariya Daivari, along with his brother Shawn Daivari, confronted WWE’s newest signees from Saudi Arabia in an Iran-Saudi Arabia angle.
