• Old School WWF Diva Would Have Celebrated Her Birthday

Today would have been the 85th birthday of Old School WWF Diva “Sweet” Sapphire (Real name: Juanita Wright).

Sapphire used to be in “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes’ corner as his valet in 1989 & 1990, before she sold out to the “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase at the WWF SummerSlam 1990 PPV.

Despite not being a trained pro wrestler, she wrestled Sensational Sherri on several house shows, as well as teaming with Dusty against Sherri & Randy Savage at WrestleMania VI.

After leaving the World Wrestling Federation in the fall of 1990, Sapphire lost interest in the sport of professional wrestling.

• WWE’s Latest Plan For Stone Cold Steve Austin Revealed

According to WrestleVotes, WWE is planning to bring back the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network under a new name:

“Hearing WWE is planning on bringing back the Stone Cold Podcast to the WWE Network in the near future. Show is scheduled to have a brand new name, but same concept – Austin interviewing top stars. I’m told it should launch within the first quarter of 2020, if not sooner.”

Austin’s podcast is one of the top wrestling podcasts in the world today and it’s obviously a huge addition to the WWE Network.

The last time Austin’s podcast was a part of the WWE Network, he interviewed names like Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon (who openly talked about booking The Undertaker’s streak coming to an end).

The Undertaker was once advertised to appear on Austin’s podcast on the WWE Network a few years back, but that never happened.
