• WWE’s New Signee Is The Best Paid Amateur Wrestler In History

We reported a few weeks ago that WWE managed to sign 2021 Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson to a guaranteed contract, that includes him learning to become a professional wrestler in the Orlando, Florida based Performance Center, before he will debut on WWE TV.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Steveson is now the best paid amateur wrestler of all time:

“Gable Steveson looks to be the best paid amateur wrestler of all-time as he goes into this season at Minnesota. He got $250,000 for winning the gold medal, which, granted is far less than he deserves, he’s making $20,000 a month in NFT money and he’s on a WWE guaranteed contract.”
