Below are a couple of top Crown Jewel news stories of the day.
• Triple H recently introduced the Crown Jewel Championships. Inaugural champions will be crowned at the Crown Jewel PLE in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 2nd.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship, while Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will battle WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax for the women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
Reports suggest these Crown Jewel Championships will be exclusive to Saudi Arabia. They are not scheduled to be full-time television titles and will not be defended throughout the year.
According to WrestleVotes Radio, these titles will function similarly to past special titles like the Greatest Royal Rumble title won by Braun Strowman in 2018, celebrated at the event but never defended afterward. These championships honor WWE’s partnership with the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia, creating unique moments for the local audience.
This move allows WWE to elevate its international events without affecting its established championships, leaving fans eager to see who will become the inaugural Crown Jewel Champions.

• WWE Crown Jewel will take place on Saturday, November 2 in Saudi Arabia, featuring some high-profile matchups.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will face World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan will take on WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, with both matches being for the newly introduced Crown Jewel Championships, exclusive to Saudi Arabia events.
However, according to the Wrestling Observer, Jey Uso will not be defending his Intercontinental Title against Bron Breakker at Crown Jewel:
“On RAW, the two matches they were directly pushing were Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed and Jey Uso vs. Bron Breakker. At press time, neither were listed for this show but we were told Rollins vs. Reed was possible for the show, and Uso vs. Breakker has a different date scheduled right now.”
WrestlePurists also reported that Uso vs. Breakker rematch for the Intercontinental Championship is planned for a future episode of RAW in the coming weeks.
