• Old School WWF Attitude Era Manager Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 62nd birthday of Old School WWF Attitude Era Manager Yamaguchi-san (Wally Yamaguchi).

Yamaguchi-san is best remembered for being the manager of the Attitude Era stable Kaientai.

The most famous moment he was involved in during his brief WWF career, was without a doubt the infamous “Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee” segment with Val Venis.

Yamaguchi was suffering from health problems after suffering a stroke back in 2017, before he passed away in 2019.

• WWE’s Plan Of Moving Charlotte Flair To NXT Not Working

Charlotte Flair worked several episodes of NXT during her feud with Rhea Ripley. Now that she’s the NXT Women’s Champion, she has to appear on even more episodes.

The Queen was brought to the brand in order to tackle AEW ratings-wise. However, the plan isn’t working as it was supposed to.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Charlotte’s match against Mia Yim on last week’s NXT did not bring in a lot of viewers:

“The Charlotte Flair – Mia Yim match was actually a low point. It did 170,000 [viewers] in 18-49, which is dreadful.

It was the second lowest point of the show — the Charlotte Flair match, that is a story because you know obviously it’s Charlotte Flair and she’s there to put the numbers up and there are people waiting to see if it’ll work or not.

With Io Shirai it may work, but with Mia Yim, you know obviously it did not.”

Perhaps, Flair was not the one WWE needed to help NXT’s viewership.
