• WWE’s Sponsorship Deals Were Negatively Affected By Vince McMahon’s Hush Money Scandal

Vince McMahon was forced to retire from all positions in WWE this year because of the hush money scandal.

At the Wells Fargo TMT Conference, WWE’s co-CEO Stephanie McMahon revealed that this scandal affected the company’s sponsorship deals for a while, but that’s no longer the case.

Below is what the former WWF Women’s Champion said:

“We’re seeing positive momentum [with sponsors], and again, like I said on the calls, we did have a pause. In addition to the macro headwinds, ya know, of course, there was some change and things that happened in our company this year. And we’re definitely seeing, for next year, what we wanted to see.”
