On December 6, 1998, the WWF aired ‘Capital Carnage’ LIVE on PPV from the London Arena in London, England (UK / Europe).

This UK-only pay-per-view event would be renamed ‘WWF Rebellion’ the next year and became an annual event until 2002.

During this event, Jim Ross suffered his second Bells palsy attack and it happened on-air. JR was then taken off WWF programming, and eventually ended up returning to commentary for the WrestleMania 15 main event.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (December 6, 2014) – WWF Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 2014, we lost Old School WWF Tag Team Wrestler “The Gigolo” Jimmy Del Ray (Real name: David Ferrier) after suffering a heart attack at the age of 52.

The highlight of Jimmy Del Ray’s Professional Wrestling career was certainly teaming with “The Doctor of Desire” Tom Prichard in SMW Smoky Mountain Wrestling and the World Wrestling Federation as ‘The Heavenly Bodies’.

After he left the WWF, he wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling under the name ‘Jimmy Graffiti’.
