WWF / WCW Legend Kevin Nash opened up on his Kliq This podcast about a startling revelation from his recent medical tests.
During a discussion with co-host Sean Oliver, Nash explained that after undergoing a stress test, his cardiologist informed him that he may have experienced a minor heart attack roughly two decades ago. The finding came from scar tissue detected near his heart.
“He said that I could have had… because I had a stent put in my heart like 20 years ago. He said I might have had like a minor heart attack like 20 years ago,” Nash shared.
Nash went on to explain that doctors discovered around 3% scarring on his heart, which could have come from genetics, the original stent procedure, or the suspected heart attack. Fortunately, the damage was located in the back of his heart, away from the most critical arteries.
The 65-year-old WWE Hall of Famer admitted the news made him think about his family history, noting that his father had suffered four heart attacks before the fifth one eventually proved fatal.
Despite the concern, Nash said his doctor assured him that, overall, his heart health is fine. The only lingering issue is an irregular heartbeat, which his cardiologist plans to treat with a procedure to “zap” his heart back into rhythm.
Kevin Nash Says AJ Lee Mocked Therapy, Claims She Didn’t Get Mental Help
During her first appearance on RAW in more than 10 years, AJ Lee delivered a promo that felt noticeably different from the usual scripted segments. Rather than just hyping her feud with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, she openly spoke about her personal struggles.
She revealed that her departure from WWE in 2015 was because she “wasn’t healthy”, shared that she went to therapy and encouraged fans to prioritize their mental health. Fans showed her support by chanting “therapy.”
On his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash criticized the promo and claimed that AJ never went to therapy and she made a mockery of it during her promo.
Below is what he said:
“They go on a rampage during a promo and say that while they were off they went and got like therapy and took care of their mental health and the people start chanting therapy. And then you realize that she didn’t go get mental help, that this is a wrestling angle and we’re kind of mocking therapy. This is part of something that we feel is good?”
It seems like Nash is unaware of AJ’s struggles as she revealed in her bestselling memoir “Crazy Is My Superpower” that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and explained how therapy helped her in managing her life and career.
