• WWF Legend Has Lost 99 Pounds

Mick Foley was part of some of the most brutal matches in WWF/E’s history. He put his body on the line and suffered extreme injuries for the entertainment of fans.

In an interview with Kayfabe Friends Wrestling Podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer talked about the recent surgeries he went through and how much weight he has lost. He said that he can walk better than he used to 15 years ago after the recent changes his body went through.

“Not too bad all things considered. I don’t have to wonder when I wake up what I did for a living.

You know, I’m sore. But I’m not as sore as I thought I’d be. And I’m actually, thanks to the hip and knee replacement, then, you know, I did lose 99 pounds. I’ve gained some of it back on, but I’m still walking better than I was 15 years ago. I actually once in a while pass people in the airport when I’m walking. So I’m doing better than I thought I’d be doing.”

The WWE Hall of Famer suffered a concussion in a car wreck earlier this year and another concussion during light training for a potential in-ring return on his 60th birthday. He prioritized his health and decided against returning to the ring following the two concussions.

• RAW Star Working As A Producer Under Triple H

WWE announced earlier this year at WrestleMania that they acquired Mexican wrestling promotion AAA. The company has held successful shows under Triple H so far, and it has also featured some top names from RAW and SmackDown like AJ Styles, The Judgment Day and Natalya.

In the latest report from the Wrestling Observer, the creative structure of AAA and the producers working there were revealed.

Triple H is in charge, and he gets creative support from The Undertaker, Jeremy Borash, Konnan and Dorian Roldan.

Key producers for the brand include current RAW star Pete Dunne, Matt Bloom, Chavo Guerrero, Moody Jack, Savio Vega, Lince Dorado and one other person.

WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels also provides input for the promotion, but his involvement is not very high due to his main focus being NXT.

Pete Dunne, who is currently a part of WWE’s main roster, is an interesting name on the list of producers. He and his Tag Team partner Tyler Bate have been out with injuries for the past few months.

The team’s last match was a victory over A-Town Down Under on the May 26th episode of WWE Main Event.

WWE has used injured wrestlers in producer roles in the past, which includes names like Jason Jordan and Bobby Roode.

• Former WWE Star Reveals He Rejected Promo Mocking Roman Reigns’ Leukemia Battle

Roman Reigns dethroned Brock Lesnar as the Universal Champion at SummerSlam 2018. Unfortunately, his reign did not last long as he had to relinquish the Universal Championship a few months later due to his battle with Leukaemia.

One of the top heels during that time on RAW was Baron Corbin (now known as Bishop Dyer). He and The Tribal Chief battled many times in 2018-19.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Corbin revealed that WWE writers pitched a promo to him in which he was supposed to take shots at Roman Reigns’ cancer. It was scrapped after he discussed the idea with Vince McMahon.

“It’s like taking shots at him about having cancer, and I was like, ‘Okay time out. Does Roman or Joe know that this is the promo?’ And they were like, ‘No, I don’t think so.’ And I said, ‘I’m not saying this unless he tells me it’s cool to say,’ and he was already gone… So I took it to Vince (McMahon), and I was like, ‘Hey man this is what they want me to say,’ he’s like, ‘Yeah, we’re not going to say that,’ and he changed it.”

Corbin further stated that he did not want beef with Roman Reigns due to the promo, which would have brought a lot of heat on him.

• Reunion Planned For Wrestlepalooza

There has been bad blood between The Vision and The OG Bloodline for months. At Clash In Paris last Sunday, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker injured The Tribal Chief to the point he was forced to be carried out of the arena on a stretcher.

Jey Uso tried to help his injured cousin, but the numbers game was just too much for him. The following night on RAW, the former World Heavyweight Champion teamed up with LA Knight to take on Breakker and Reed, but ended up losing.

The Vision unleashed a beat-down on Jey Uso after the match, but his twin brother Jimmy came out with a steel chair to make the save.

According to the Wrestling Observer, WWE is planning to have The Usos reunite in the ring against Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at Wrestlepalooza.

If the match happens, it will be the first time Jimmy and Jey team up since their match against A-Town Down Under earlier this year on RAW in Scotland.

The leader of The Vision, Seth Rollins, is also expected to team up with his wife Becky Lynch at Wrestlepalooza in a Mixed Tag Team match against the returning AJ Lee and her husband CM Punk.
