• WWF Legend Says He Got Choked Up After A Recent Message From Vince McMahon

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Old School WWF Legend Kane talked about becoming the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

Kane noted during the interview that he got choked up after Vince sent him a congratulatory message after his election win.

Below is what Kane said:

“Vince has been very supportive throughout this entire endeavour. He reached out to extend his congratulations. Vince wants all of us to do well, no matter what we’re doing, because it reflects well on the company.

On a personal level, between me and him, it’s important to me that he is proud of me. He’s done so much for me and for my family. He sent me a text that got me all choked up.”

You can watch Kane’s victory speech below (where he came on the stage with his old WWE theme song playing in the background):
