• Old School Wrestling Veteran Celebrates His Birthday
Old School Wrestling Veteran “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant (Real name: James Fanning) celebrates his 76th birthday today.
After teaming with his kayfabe brother “Luscious Johnny V” Johnny Valiant during the 70s, Jimmy Valiant ended up becoming one of the greatest comedy characters in pro wrestling history, when he adapted the “Boogie Woogie Man” persona while wrestling on NWA TV (including several PPVs) for Jim Crockett Promotions.
In 1996 the Valiant Brothers got inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame (now WWE Hall of Fame) by “The British Bulldog” Davey Boy Smith & “The King of Harts” Owen Hart.
They became the first Tag Team ever to be inducted into the WWF/E Hall of Fame!

• WWF Legend Says He Got Choked Up After A Recent Message From Vince McMahon
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Old School WWF Legend Kane talked about becoming the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
Kane noted during the interview that he got choked up after Vince sent him a congratulatory message after his election win.
Below is what Kane said:
“Vince has been very supportive throughout this entire endeavour. He reached out to extend his congratulations. Vince wants all of us to do well, no matter what we’re doing, because it reflects well on the company.
On a personal level, between me and him, it’s important to me that he is proud of me. He’s done so much for me and for my family. He sent me a text that got me all choked up.”
