• WWF Legend Main Evented WrestleMania For The 1st Time 24 Years Ago Today
On this day in Pro Wrestling history on March 23, 1997, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WrestleMania 13’ LIVE on PPV from the Rosemont Horizon in Rosemont, Illinois.
This was the 13th annual WrestleMania event with the inaugural WrestleMania happening in 1985. Even nowadays, WrestleMania is still by far the biggest professional wrestling event on the planet each year.
The event featured The Undertaker main eventing his 1st ever WrestleMania and winning his second WWF Championship.

– 4-Way Elimination – #1 Contenders: The Headbangers defeated Doug Furnas & Phil LaFon, The Godwinns and The New Blackjacks
– WWF Intercontinental Championship: Rocky Maivia (c) defeated The Sultan
– Hunter Hearst Helmsley defeated Goldust
– WWF Tag Team Championship: Owen Hart & The British Bulldog (c) wrestled Mankind & Vader to a double count-out
– Submission match: Bret Hart defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin
– Chicago Street Fight: Ahmed Johnson & The Legion of Doom defeated The Nation of Domination
– No DQ – WWF Championship: The Undertaker defeated Sycho Sid (c)

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (March 23, 2008) – Old School WCW Veteran Passed Away
On this day in 2008, we lost Old School WCW Veteran Chase Tatum (Real name: William Tatum) at the age of 34 due to an accidental drug overdose.
The former pro-bodybuilder wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1998 and 1999, before he retired from the sport of professional wrestling due to severe back problems.
