Fans of WWE NXT are in for a treat as Shawn Michaels, the WWF Legend and NXT executive, drops tantalizing hints about upcoming developments. Following the surprise appearance of TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace on the May 28th edition of NXT, speculation is rife about further WWE/TNA crossovers
The wrestling world was abuzz when Jordynne Grace stepped into the NXT arena, challenging Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at NXT Battleground. Fans worldwide have been eagerly anticipating the next chapter in the WWE/TNA collaboration.
In an interview with KTNV Channel 13 Las Vegas, Shawn Michaels shed light on what lies ahead. While acknowledging that decisions are made by higher-ups, Michaels assured fans that exciting announcements are on the horizon.
He emphasized the desire to entertain both the performers and the audience. Michaels cryptically alluded to long-awaited moments (perhaps denoted by “A, B, and C”) that those behind the scenes have yearned to witness.
This is what he said in the interview:
“Well look, obviously a lot of those decisions get made by people above me. But look, I have no doubt that there’s gonna be some very exciting announcements coming down the pipe, let’s put it that way.
I will say this, again, it comes back to wanting to entertain the people that do this and you just said it, for fans, we have wanted A, B, and C for so long. I don’t know.
I guess with those of us that get to do this behind the scenes, those are things that we’ve wanted to see, why not see if we can bring you guys one of these things you’ve been looking for.
Obviously a very exciting time to be a wrestling fan and we’ll see how much of it culminates Battleground on June 9, I’m sure a lot of things are going to be going on that night, so I wouldn’t miss it.”
