On this day in Pro Wrestling history on November 15, 1998, the World Wrestling Federation aired ‘WWF Survivor Series 1998: Deadly Game’ LIVE on PPV from the Kiel Center at St. Louis, Missouri.

The 1998 edition of the World Wrestling Federation’s traditional ‘Survivor Series’ event featured a 14-man tournament for the vacant WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

This Survivor Series didn’t even feature one classic Survivor Series Elimination match, but is still being remembered as one of the better Survivor Series PPVs.

The Rock won his 1st ever WWF Championship at this event, and made a new record for being the youngest WWF Champion at that time.

– WWF Women’s Championship: Sable defeated Jacqueline (c)

– Tournament semi-final: Mankind defeated Stone Cold Steve Austin

– Tournament semi-final: The Rock defeated The Undertaker by DQ

– WWF Tag Team Championship: The New Age Outlaws (c) defeated D’Lo Brown and Mark Henry & The Headbangers

– Tournament final: The Rock defeated Mankind
