• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 52nd birthday of Old School WWF/WCW Veteran Giant González aka El Gigante (Real name: Jorge González).
When Ted Turner realized that the giant wasn’t gonna make it in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks, he would offer him to get trained to become Professional Wrestler.
His proudest moment was probably showing up uninvited during the 1993 Royal Rumble match and eliminating The Undertaker.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY & R.I.P.

• WWF Veteran Thinks Ronda Rousey Stole Asuka’s Spotlight
During a recent edition of The Taz Show podcast, WWF Veteran Taz discussed the Royal Rumble 2018 PPV. Below are some highlights:
On NXT Champions entering the Royal Rumble matches:
“Let’s worry about the current talent, WWE. That’s what we need to get over. Not the men and women that are from the past. That’s something I have a problem with, and I have a problem with doing what you’re doing to your two champions from NXT.
They come off as small, and they come off as not being utilized the right way, and it hurts. It hurts them. It hurts them badly when that happens.”
On Ronda Rousey appearing after the first ever Women’s Royal Rumble match:
“It kind of takes the spotlight away from Asuka’s victory. But what did she win? I mean, you’re pointing, Ronda Rousey, I know how tough you are, but what did she earn?
She didn’t beat anyone, she didn’t fight anybody here. I don’t get it.”
