• El Cuatrero Sentenced To 13 Years In Prison In Case Involving Stephanie Vaquer
Mexican wrestler El Cuatrero (Rogelio Reyes) is facing a long time in prison following a criminal case involving his former partner, WWE Superstar Stephanie Vaquer.
A court in Mexico officially sentenced the former AAA wrestler to nearly 13 years behind bars for domestic violence and attempted femicide, per RECORD Mexico. While the sentence sounds very long, he has already been locked up for about two years during the trial, and that time will be subtracted from his total stay.
There is a chance his time inside could be shorter depending on how things go. If he follows the rules and shows good behavior, he might only have to serve a little over four more years. Word going on is that Vaquer’s team plans to appeal the sentence, likely pushing for a tougher punishment.
The charges stem from a violent incident in March 2023. During an argument, Cuatrero allegedly grabbed Vaquer by the neck, slammed her into a wall, and caused a heavy painting to fall on her, which could have resulted in severe injury. Cuatrero was arrested following the allegations and remained in custody for nearly two years before being released in early 2025.
Stephanie Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42 and is currently sidelined with an injury. She is in a relationship with NXT North American Champion Myles Borne.
