• X-Pac Comments On SmackDown Live Star Possibly Being In The “Doghouse”
There were reports earlier this month that Big Cass received backstage heat after his segment with “midget” Daniel Bryan prior to Backlash 2018 PPV.
As seen during that segment, Big Cass beat up the midget who was dressed as Daniel Bryan. WWE officials wanted Big Cass to only deliver a Big Boot to the midget and that was it as far as getting physical during that segment goes.
However, Big Cass wanted to get more physical in that segment, but Vince McMahon denied his request.
Big Cass didn’t listen to Vince McMahon and went to deliver a series of punches to the midget after delivering the Big Boot to him.

While Dirty Sheets has already stated that these reports are false, a lot of people still believe that there’s heat on Cass as he went on to lose to Daniel Bryan at Backlash, then wasn’t used on the post-Backlash edition of SmackDown Live and then was brutally beaten down by Daniel Bryan in a brawl.
Old School WWF Veteran X-Pac had the following to say regarding the possibility of Big Cass being in the “doghouse” during a recent edition of the X-Pac 1,2,360 podcast:
“We have a saying in the industry, and it’s not just in our industry. It’s better to say sorry than ask for permission. But if you’re gonna go with that approach, you can’t go ahead and ask for permission and then get told no. And it seems like that’s the case here, and that’s just absolutely f’ing insane.
Look. A lot of us have gone against the grain and done things that the company doesn’t like, but we never really went and asked for permission, but specifically told no, and then went and did it anyway on live TV. So, I understand if you feel the need, you wanna go out there and get over, but man.
Someone can be in the doghouse so long, WWE can forget what you’re in there for.”
