The Good Brothers, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, are officially free agents and are already heading back to NJPW.

Gallows and Anderson became free agents today, 90 days after their release from WWE. New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced their return for this Friday’s Resurgence event, where they’ll team up with The Young Bucks in an eight-man tag match. Their opponents will be Bullet Club War Dogs members Gabe Kidd, David Finlay, Clark Connors, and Gedo.

In a promo shared by NJPW, Gallows said:

“What you’re witnessing here today my friends, it is not a re-debut. It is not an arrival shot. It is a resurrection. It is the resurgence of The Good Brothers.”

Anderson added:

“May 9 is day one at Resurgence. You are witnessing a total takeover.”

Gallows and Anderson are three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions. Anderson also previously held the NEVER Openweight Championship. Their last run with WWE lasted from late 2022 until February 2025.

This Friday’s match will mark Anderson’s return to action following surgery last November for a torn rotator cuff and partially torn labrum.
