• Ricochet defeated Johnny Gargano in 4 minutes & 21 seconds to become the first ever WWE Speed Champion.
Since this was a championship match, it had a 5-minute time limit instead of the usual 3-minute limit.

WWE has announced a No. 1 Contenders tournament for the Speed Championship:
– Apollo Crews vs. Ivar
– Tyler Bate vs. Berto

• After three years with AEW, Ethan Page’s tenure with the company has officially come to an end.
Speculation about his departure arose when he was removed from the All Elite Wrestling roster page on Thursday, May 2, indicating that his time with the promotion had concluded.
Reports from Fightful Select suggest that Page’s exit from AEW was considered a “formality” within and outside the company. Page’s absence from AEW programming had become noticeable in recent months, leading to speculation about his future with the promotion.
During his time with AEW, Page had been a regular on Ring of Honor (ROH) programming but had been missing from the show in recent months. It’s reported that as early as February, Page had expressed a desire to leave AEW. Plans for a feud between Page and Kyle Fletcher over the ROH Television Championship had been delayed due to Fletcher’s Visa issues.
In light of his absence from ROH, Page had been increasingly active on the independent circuit and had been focusing on promoting his Alpha-1 Wrestling company. As of now, Page has not publicly commented on reports of his departure from AEW.
