Hogan’s then best friend, fellow radio DJ Bubba The Love Sponge, confronted The Iron Sheik during Sheik’s very first appearance on Howard Stern TV in 2007, when both were live in the studio together.
Bubba did defend Hogan and managed to provoke The Iron Sheik big time, so from that point on, he became one of Sheik’s most famous targets in almost every interview.
Can anyone imagine the satisfaction, The Iron Sheik must have felt, when news broke several years later, that Bubba The Love Sponge betrayed Hulk Hogan by secretly recording the now infamous S*x Tape of him?
